What is Trusted Panama Stays?

Trusted Panama Stays is the only directly editable online directory of short-term tourist accommodations in Panama that operate legally with official government authorization. Every listing is verified against official Panamanian government records before being accepted.

How we verify listings

We accept two types of verified accommodations:

✅ ATP Registered
Listed in the official ATP Reporte de Hospedajes Vigentes. Registered with Panama's Tourism Authority.
✅ MiCI Authorized
Holds a valid Aviso de Operación from Panama's Ministry of Commerce and Industries. Fully legal and tax-compliant.

Why does legal authorization matter?

Authorized properties meet safety requirements including smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, proper emergency exits, and compliance with public hospitality norms. Booking an unauthorized rental leaves you without legal protection if anything goes wrong.

Save up to 20% by booking direct

Major booking platforms charge hosts 15–20% commission, which is quietly passed on to you in the nightly rate. Trusted Panama Stays is commission-free. You find a property here and contact the host directly — no middleman, no hidden fees.

For accommodation owners

If your property appears in the ATP registry, it is already listed here. If you operate with a valid Aviso de Operación but are not yet in the ATP registry, you can also apply — we verify your documents and add your property. With a membership, you can enhance your listing with photos, a full description, your address, and booking links — for less than $2 per month.
